OneMuslimNetwork
Community guidelines
OneMuslimNetwork is a platform for the Ummah. Everything posted here — marriage profiles, wedding services, marketplace items, community pots, mosques and conversations — must follow Islamic guidelines and our community standards.
Islamic guidelines
Content on OneMuslimNetwork must be in keeping with the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. In particular:
- Halal only. No promotion of alcohol, pork, gambling, riba (interest-bearing loans), or other haram products or services.
- Modesty (haya). Profile and product photos should respect Islamic standards of modesty for both men and women.
- Honesty (sidq). No false claims, exaggerated prices, scams, or impersonation. Speak the truth even if it's against your own interest.
- Adab (good conduct). Treat every member as you would treat your own family — no insults, no backbiting (ghibah), no slander.
- No shirk. Content must not invite anyone away from tawhid.
- Respect the deen of others. Disagree without hate, never mock another's religion.
Community standards
Beyond the shari'ah, we ask members to keep OneMuslimNetwork a safe, useful place by following these practical rules:
- Be real. Use your real name on profiles intended for serious commitments (marriage, business, pots). No fake identities.
- Stay on-topic. List items, profiles and services in the right section. Don't repost the same listing multiple times.
- Protect each other. Don't share another member's private details (phone, address, photos) without their permission.
- Keep payments inside the platform. Use the pot wallet or marketplace flows for money — don't accept off-platform transfers that bypass safeguards.
- No spam. No mass-DMs, no recruiting away from the platform, no promotional accounts.
- Report, don't argue. If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the Report button. Don't engage publicly.
How reporting works
- Click the Report button shown on any marketplace item, pot, profile, mosque, or business listing.
- Pick the closest reason and add details if it helps the moderator understand.
- An admin reviews every report and decides whether to dismiss it or take action (hide the content, contact the owner, or in serious cases suspend the account).
- Your identity is not shared with the person you reported.
